Escape the busy resorts for a day and discover one of Crete’s most exotic hidden gems — the uninhabited island of Chrissi.
Your journey begins in the morning when a comfortable bus takes you to the port of Ierapetra. From there, you will sail across the sparkling Libyan Sea toward an island that feels more like the Caribbean than Greece.
Chrissi Island is famous for its untouched nature, crystal-clear turquoise waters and spectacular beaches with white, red and even black sand. The island is protected as an area of exceptional natural beauty, and its waters change colour dozens of times throughout the day — from light turquoise to deep emerald green.
One of the island’s greatest treasures is its rare cedar forest. Walking through wooden pathways surrounded by ancient Lebanese cedar trees feels like entering another world. The island itself is small — you can cross it in around 15 minutes — but every corner offers postcard-worthy scenery.
You’ll have approximately 4 hours of free time to swim, explore, relax on the beaches or simply enjoy this unique corner of Crete.
If you have ever dreamed of spending a day on an island that looks like something from a movie — this is your chance.
