Tour from Crete to ATHENS by ferry: Acropolis, Ancient Greece

Do you want to plunge into the atmosphere of ancient Greece? We invite you to go on an unforgettable sea voyage to the very heart of Greece, its main city - the capital of Athens. Traveling by ferry will take two incomplete days, and the impressions will last for years to come!

In the evening, the bus will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the ferry port in Heraklion. You will spend the night on a modern, nine-deck ferry with accommodations in four-berth cabins.

In the morning, you will disembark at the port of Athens, have breakfast, and go to the most famous landmark in Greece, the Acropolis. Our group will be one of the first to ascend to the Acropolis and see it flooded with the first rays of the rising sun. This picture will remain in your memory forever, just like the stunning view of Athens from the hill.

Next, you will go to get acquainted with the history of Ancient Greece at the Archaeological Museum, after which you will look at Pnik Square, where political meetings of the Greeks were held, as well as at the Ancient Agora.

In the middle of the day, you will have lunch in one of the city's taverns of your choice, and after lunch, you will have a few free hours to leisurely walk around Athens, go shopping, buy souvenirs, or visit other attractions.

In the afternoon, with a guide, you will visit the Olympic Stadium and the Historical Museum, see the famous changing of the guard at the parliament building on the main square of Athens, Sindagma, and on the way to the ferry, you will ride through the evening city when the first lights are lit in Athens.

The night ferry will take you back to Crete, and in the morning you will be in Heraklion. The bus will meet you at the port of Heraklion and take you to your hotel.
