Description of the tour:
Crete is a godsend for true fans of history and archeology, and everyone will agree that there are also natural beauties here. The West is a must-visit for connoisseurs of beautiful views that are breathtaking, eye-catching, and memorable. This is what draws visitors to the island of Crete back again and again—to preserve these memories and replenish them with new vibrant colors.
On this journey, we will collect the "pearls" from the western part of the island.
We drive to the only natural lake in Crete, Lake Kournas, which is surrounded by the White Mountains, Lefka Ori. They retain their white color even after the snow melts on their top.
We will have time to drink a cup of Greek coffee or mountain tea in one of the taverns by the lake, ride a catamaran on the lake, or just wander around souvenir shops with beautiful ceramics.
Without forgetting about one of the important goals of our holiday on the island—swimming—we will go with you to the quiet bay of Stavros on the Akrotiri peninsula. We can swim and have lunch on the beach.
Fans of wandering through the labyrinth of intricate streets of traditional southern European cities will be extremely interested in walking through the center of charming Chania, the second largest city and the former capital of the island. This city creates an amazing symbiosis of different architectural styles, since Crete belonged to Venice for a long time and was also conquered by the Ottomans. We will have 3 hours of free time. You can walk along the narrow Venetian streets and have coffee in the port.
Our "pearls" are collected.
