We will definitely make a stop at the Holy Stavropegic Patriarchal Monastery of Preveli. The miraculous holy cross in the monastery, a gift from the abbot of Preveli Ephraim (from 1769 to 1803), contains at its base most of the Cross of the Lord and, according to legend, was brought from Constantinople. For centuries, he has protected the monastery and its novices. Countless healings from various ailments and miraculous stories are associated with the Holy Cross in Preveli.<\/p>\n
