Would you like to discover the history of Crete without spending the entire day on an excursion? We have prepared a tour that is both easy-going and rich in fascinating history, covering some of Crete\u2019s most important landmarks.<\/p>\n
Together, we will explore the history of the great Minoan civilization, visit Knossos Palace, walk through the capital of the island \u2014 Heraklion \u2014 and discover the famous Archaeological Museum.<\/p>\n
Set aside half a day to immerse yourself in the mysteries of ancient Crete. You will walk through the grounds of Knossos Palace, believed by some historians to be the legendary Labyrinth of the Minotaur. You will learn the story of King Minos\u2019 palace and the history of ancient Crete itself \u2014 making this experience interesting and educational for both adults and children.<\/p>\n
The excursion continues at the Archaeological Museum, home to hundreds of unique artifacts from Minoan culture. You will discover one of the world\u2019s most fascinating civilizations through famous frescoes (including the Bull Fresco), the Phaistos Disc, statues, jewelry, pottery, and many other treasures thousands of years old.<\/p>\n
