And its clergy are the personification of masculinity, courage, and self-sacrifice...<\/p>\n<p>The complex of monasteries was destroyed six times. Five times, in different periods, the Turkish occupiers broke it. The sixth, in 1941, was destroyed by the German army. Various goods and furniture were seized, including the decoration of the church, and a precious relic, the Miraculous Honest Cross.
