Secrets of Mirabello Bay. Agios Nikolaos (mini-group)

You asked, and we did!
We came up with and organized an amazing route. This is not just a new tour. This is a journey "through our eyes, through the eyes of people" who love Crete, have lived on the island for many years, and want to show a "different" Crete outside of the classic tourist route. For many years, our relatives and friends managed to appreciate this beauty because only the "chosen ones" opened this route, keeping our favorite corners a secret. And now we offer it to you so that you can enjoy Crete in your own way as the most welcome guests!
How will our acquaintance go?

We are going to Mirabello, east, to the bay "with a beautiful view."
The journey begins at one of Crete's oldest monasteries, which dates from the 16th century. And we'll be alone there! The abbess of the monastery will open the doors of the church for us, and for a moment, we will be transported several centuries ago. Next, we climb the mountains and drive to a lost village, a completely non-tourist place where we can walk, watching the leisurely life of the Cretans. Of course, along the way, we will stop at a traditional coffee house to try real Greek coffee or tea made from fragrant mountain herbs.
А потом по узкой горной дороге мы спустимся к самому заливу Мирабелло. Этот залив, имеет впечатляющие виды вокруг, с названием, по легенде, данным венецианцами, поныне остаётся местом довольно известным и привлекательным для отдыха. Им любовались мореплаватели более тысячи лет назад, но до сих пор это удивительное место не утратило своей красоты. Здесь хочется бесконечно смотреть вдаль – на прозрачное море бирюзового цвета, на горы и на таинственный остров Спиналонга. Мы остановимся на фото стоп и сделаем сотни великолепных снимков.
Next, we will have free time in the fishing village of Plaka. Life in the village flows measuredly and slowly... Fishermen prepare boats and gear for tomorrow's fishing. And here you will have time to swim in the sea and taste the freshest seafood in a tavern on the very shore.

Amazonas Park: one of the most striking and, surprisingly, lasting impressions from visiting this zoo was feeding lemurs, which can be done for both adults and children. Here, you can see more than 100 species of parrots.
Заключительным аккордом этого путешествия станет посещение города Агиос Николаос, получившего название «критское Сен –Тропе». Агиос Николаос – очень красивый городок, привлекающий своей архитектурой, уютными улочками с бесконечными лестницами, уходящими прямо в небо. Здесь ощущается особая атмосфера восточного региона Крита. Город также известен своим пресноводным озером Вулезмени, впадающим в море. Вы сможете полюбоваться панорамой города с обзорной площадки над озером или отдохнуть в кафе на обрыве с бокалом вина, наслаждаясь живописным видом вокруг.
